Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Rumors for the Day:
- Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio recently that "If Charlotte doesn't win then it's probably the influence of John Cena. That's kind of what I was told." As you know, she didn't win, so there's that.
- That said, the expectation is that Charlotte will win the title at Night of Champions.
- There's still some talk that John Cena vs. Seth Rollins will go on last at Night of Champions.
- For that matter, and perhaps because the booking looks to be planned this way, it looks like Rollins will beat Sting to retain the WWE world heavyweight title but lose the US title to Cena.
- No matter how Full Sail crowds react, WWE is apparently steadfast in pushing Eva Marie to the NXT women's title, possibly before the year is out or near the start of 2016.
