Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Adding to the confusion of last week's conflicting reports on Randy Orton, The Observer says that The Viper is scheduled for both Raw and SmackDown this week. Far from being a conclusive report, some have said he'll only work dark matches at both tapings. He's still not booked for Night of Champions, but there's a storyline opening for him to partner with Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose against The Wyatts.
  • Rey Mysterio recently Tweeted to his followers that he and WWE have a "good understanding". While he expressed his commitment to "other directions" right now, this is seen as a good sign for future business between Vince McMahon and the ex-WWE champ...including a Hall of Fame berth.
  • A photo of a scantily clad woman appeared on Kevin Nash's Twitter Saturday. The message's location stated it came from Blackpool, England, where the Hall of Famer was doing appearances. The pic appeared on his WWE.com profile page even after he deleted it, claiming the account was hacked, and apparently there are those at corporate angry over the situation.
  • Hiatus update! Cameron is taking time off to launch a new anti-bullying campaign, "Wrong #". Wade Barrett is filming a new WWE Studios' project, Eliminators, in London.
  • If this weekend's house shows are any indication, we could be in for an El Torito push. The talented mini came out to his own theme music (George Thorogood's Bad to the Bone) when he interfered to help The Dudleys defeat Los Matadores, who turned on him last week.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
