Daniel Vidot, a 25-year-old Australian wing for the Brisbane Broncos of the National Rugby League, is reportedly weighing an offer from the WWE. The story, originally reported by the Courier-Mail:
"I've had an approach from the WWE," Vidot told the Courier Mail. "They've contacted me and have offered to fly me over to Orlando in a few weeks to try out for the WWE. I'm seriously looking at it.
"They first approached me last year but I was playing good football with the Broncos, so I didn't take it seriously. Then just recently they contacted me again and I've decided I'm going to have a crack at it."
Vidot has recently fallen out of favor with the Broncos coach and his play has been restricted, according to Stuff. He also plays for the Samoan national rugby team.
