The problem with RAW – not enough people putting over Triple H

This week’s RAW has been the subject of much criticism by people on the Internet. Was it because of poor booking? Lack of compelling storylines? One dimensional characters who drift meaninglessly in and out of midcard purgatory? No. It was because there weren’t enough people putting over how great Triple H is.

Sure, Sting had a few nice words to say about the Cerebral Assassin but that’s hardly enough for the greatest wrestler of all time. I mean this man is miles better than Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Bruno Sammartino, The Ultimate Warrior, and Stevie Richards combined. Ric Flair holds the record for most world title reigns all thanks to Triple H. Brock Lesnar broke the Undertaker’s streak all thanks to Triple H. The New England Patriots won the Super Bowl all thanks to Triple H. Man landed on the moon all thanks to Triple H. So why with all these great accolades to his name does this man not get the credit he deserves on television?

Let us look back at RAW and figure out how we could have fixed this problem…

Divas Beat the Clock Challenge

Why does this suck? Was it because it made Sasha Banks look like a jobber? Was it because they gave Paige and Sasha Banks less than two minutes when they might have actually had a decent match? No. It was because no one was putting over Triple H. If Paige really wanted to beat Sasha so quickly, she should have just hit her with the pedigree because it’s Triple H’s finisher and no one kicks out of it, ever.

Ziggler/Summer Angle

Was this a problem because of how stupid it was? Of course not. It was problem because Summer Rae forget to mention that when she saw Dolph Ziggler naked, she saw the words "Triple H is God" tattooed to Ziggler’s right butt cheek.

Big Show vs Ryback

Michael Cole failed to put over on commentary that Big Show and Ryback were fighting for the prized Intercontinental Championship as held by legends such as Triple H, the Cerebral Assassin, the Game, the King of Kings, HHH, Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Terra Rizing, and Triple H.

Dean Ambrose vs Braun Strowman

This match did make Braun Strowman look like a monster but it failed to mention that Dean Ambrose was in a commercial for WWE 2K16 with the Terminator, Arnold Schwarzenegger, who introduced Triple H at WrestleMania 31 in the greatest entrance in the history of sports entertainment (shut up about Rusev and his tank).

The New Day vs The Dudley Boyz

The New Day are a fun act but Xavier didn’t mention that the reason he was wearing his hair down was in tribute to Triple H’s long hair that carried wrestling through its most successful period ever, The Attitude Era. As we all know the Attitude Era was so successful because of D Generation X alone which was led by Triple H.

Kevin Owens vs Cesaro

It was a fun match but it wasn’t pointed out that Kevin Owens is from Quebec where they speak French just like Jean Paul Levesque who was the alter ego of Triple H.

Cena/Rollins promo

Unlike Sting earlier, John Cena forgot to mention that no matter who wins the United States title match at Night of Champions they still won’t be as good as Triple H.

All of RAW’s problems could be fixed by giving Triple H, King of Kings, Breaker of Chains, and NXT God the credit he deserves. Do you have any other ideas to fix this lack of Haitch appreciation? Leave your comments below making sure you put over Triple H in the process.

We wouldn’t want you to have to get a visit from a shovel now, would we?
