WWE SummerSlam 2015 match card, rumors

The next pay-per-view (PPV) on the WWE schedule is the SummerSlam show set to take place on Sun., Aug. 23, 2015, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. This will mark the first time in six years the company will hold this event outside the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, and the promotion is doing all it can to load the line-up.

We're now two weeks out from showtime and WWE has actually booked up roughly half the card. Here's where we're at so far:

- Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar

"The Phenom" is back because Paul Heyman couldn't stop bragging about "The Beast" besting the streak and it made Undertaker really, really mad. Like, scorched Earth angry. Payback time. Or something like that.

- Seth Rollins vs. John Cena

This hasn't officially been announced but Rollins threw down the challenge for a title vs. title (WWE world heavyweight vs. US) match on Raw last Monday and every indication is that's what we're getting.

- Ryback vs. Big Show vs. The Miz

Never one to give up on a bad idea, WWE is attempting to make this triple threat Intercontinental title match happen for the second straight PPV show. The hope is THE BIG GUY will be healthy enough for it and even if he's not, the extra man will give them a way to creatively book around it.

- Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt & Luke Harper

There had been rumors that this would be a six-man tag with another Wyatt recruit and Sting thrown in, but it looks like WWE is content with a toned down version of The Shield vs. The Wyatt Family.

That's everything planned at the moment. Other rumors suggest a four-way for the tag team titles, a trios women's match, Dolph Ziggler vs. Rusev, and Cesaro vs. Kevin Owens. It's a four-hour show, so they could add even more than that.
