Rumors for the Day:

• According to PW Insider, WWE didn't decide to have Sting challenge for the WWE world heavyweight title until just days before SummerSlam.

• The Observer notes that WWE has at least talked about Sister Abigail being an actual person and using her on television at some point.

• The latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that the story going around about John Cena putting a nix on Charlotte winning the Divas title from Nikki Bella may or may not be true but apparently there was a time when early in Nikki's run with the title there was "a movement for her to drop the title and Cena stepped in."

• Jushin Liger is apparently going to work more NXT dates in the future.

• It looks like going forward WWE will start running NXT Takeover specials on the Network the night before Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, and SummerSlam.
