The tag team titles were on the line in a Fatal 4-Way match at tonight's WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view (PPV) at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York with the Prime Time Players putting their belts up for grabs against The New Day, Lucha Dragons, and Los Matadores.
The rules dictated anyone could tag in anyone else, which led to some solid early psychology from Big E and Kofi Kingston as they tried to set up the former pinning the latter to win right away. It didn't work, of course.
Instead, we got the usual chaotic but fun multi-man match with everyone working hard and plenty of big spots to go around. The finish came when Kingston snuck in to tag himself in while they bodies were flying everywhere. Big E pushed O'Neil aside so Kofi could pin Los Matadores to give New Day the titles.
And then, a celebration for the ages:
