Rumors for the Day:
- The Rock is apparently not currently scheduled for SummerSlam but plans could always change.
- On his message board, Dave Meltzer wrote that there was no big confrontation at the Roddy Piper funeral between Triple H and Chyna. "As Paul was leaving she did come up and say she was sorry. That was the extent of it." So take that as you will.
- According to PW Insider, Kevin Nash will be in town for WWE commitments during SummerSlam weekend, though it's unclear exactly what they will be.
- The latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that part of the reason the Divas tag match on SmackDown last week that had a botched finish wasn't restarted could be due to the fact that Vince McMahon and Triple H weren't there and no one else would likely order a redo.
- The latest on Lucha Underground is that a second season is still thought to be coming but it's likely going to be scaled down due to financing.
