Rumor Roundup (Aug. 13, 2015): Seth Rollins vs. John Cena, Sting WWE plans, Kevin Owens, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • The early word on the Seth Rollins vs. John Cena match at SummerSlam is the most likely outcome is a finish that involves both guys keeping their titles.
  • Apparently Sting isn't being used at SummerSlam because WWE feels the lineup is strong enough without him. He may, however, come back for Night of Champions.
  • According to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live it was neither Kevin Dunn nor Vince McMahon who made the call on Randy Orton fat shaming Kevin Owens on Raw this week. So take that as you will.
  • WWE may be dropping the King Barrett gimmick in favor of a return to the Bad News gimmick here soon.
  • Erick Rowan isn't expected back on WWE television for at least another month or so.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
