Finn Balor vs. Kevin Owens title rematch set for NXT Takeover: Brooklyn

When NXT hits the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York the night before SummerSlam on Sat., Aug. 22, 2015, for a live special on the WWE Network, it will do so with a main event sure to deliver the goods.

Balor won the title from Owens at the Beast in the East special just this past weekend in Tokyo and the company wasted no time announcing the rematch. That came at today's Mattel panel at the San Diego Comic Con event courtesy of NXT General Manager William Regal.

Since the Tokyo throwdown, Owens has turned his attention to capturing John Cena's United States Championship, but don't think for a moment that the bruiser won't relish the opportunity to reclaim the title that propelled him to Superstardom and embarrass Bálor in the process.

It seems unlikely Owens will win the title back, considering he's a full time main roster star at this point. Then again, he's done just fine working such an ambitious schedule, one that will be grueling that weekend with major matches on consecutive nights.
