Rumor Roundup (July 8, 2015): Update on fan hit by car at Raw, NXT call ups, Sheamus vs. Orton, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Rumors for the Day:

• The word going around on the fan who was hit by the car door that Brock Lesnar threw at Raw this week is that he was taken backstage to meet several stars and was given a ton of merchandise to make up for what happened. Apparently he left happy and was feeling fine.

• Charlotte and Sasha Banks are planned for the SummerSlam event, as reported by PW Insider yesterday, but they are likely to show up on the main roster before then.

• With that said, Dave Meltzer remarked on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that there "have been changes" in the Divas program multiple times and it's unclear when things will happen but they are building to Paige getting reinforcements.

• Sheamus vs. Randy Orton should be added to the Battleground PPV by next week.

• The word from PW Insider is that the next big angle in the TNA-GFW invasion could come on the July 22 episode of Impact, which could be the next live show on Destination America.
