Rumor Roundup (July 4, 2015): Beast in the East card, Nikki Bella injury, Nakamura & Okada WWE tryouts, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • The Beast in the East show is slotted for two hours on the WWE Network and may not be shown in its entirety, at least not live. There's also a rumor going around that the John Cena & Dolph Ziggler vs. Kane & King Barrett match will main event but that seems silly. It is, however, a glorified house show.
  • Nikki Bella has worked through multiple injuries during her title run, including a hamstring issue. She's apparently dealing with a separated shoulder right now.
  • There's some word going around at Wrestling Inc that Shinsuke Nakamura and Kazuchika Okada are getting WWE tryouts.
  • According to the Observer, the NXT show in Brooklyn during SummerSlam weekend will be set up for 5,000 fans but they will add seats if the demand is there.
  • Cody Rhodes is expected to return to television on next Monday night's episode of Raw after taking time off for the death of his father, Dusty Rhodes.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
