Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.

Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.

We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.

Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - WWE's Battleground pay-per-view (PPV), the July 20 episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, Wednesday's ROH TV, Lucha Underground, WWE NXT TNA ImpactThursday's WWE SmackDown, ROH's Death Before Dishonor XIII internet PPV, New Japan's G1 Climax shows, and whatever other internet streaming wrestling that aired from July 19 - 25.

Make YOUR mark, smarks!

YOU KNOW WHAT'S TRUE

  • The "Divas Revolution" struck The S3, with the ladies who main evented NXT getting a few more votes...and the NXT champ getting a few more than that to win the week.
  • Last week's #1 almost pulled off a repeat, but came up a little short. Just like the man who beat him on Raw, came in third and fought from underneath against the U.S. champ...who padded his lead in the annual Standings by finishing sixth.
  • Surviving DAT NUMBERS GAME during a contract signing put the Ass-Kicker a few spots above the WWE champ, who managed to get a point despite his continued chicken-shitted-ness.
  • Two very different kinds of martial artist were neck-in-neck in eighth and ninth with the ninja just ahead of the Olympic wrestler...for as long as he's (G)able.
