The Wednesday night block of wrestling on Destination America still exists, but in a slightly modified form. And the Wedesday night war has its first casualty, as ROH TV will only occupy the 11PM Eastern slot that had been a second showing of the Sinclair Broadcasting brand's show.
According to the schedule on the network's website, Bigfoot in America will now air as a lead-in to Impact Wrestling at 9PM.
ROH TV got eight weeks in the primetime 8PM spot, and for the month of June, their viewership steadily rose. But July wasn't as kind - including a disasterous July 15 where they failed to attract 100,000 pairs of eyes.
Here's viewership for the show's run at the earlier time:
June 3 - 163,000 viewers
June 10 - 161,000 viewers
June 17 - 172,000 viewers
June 24 - 185,000 viewers
July 1 - 157,000 viewers
July 8 - 128,000 viewers
July 15 - 80,000 viewers
July 22 - 139,000 viewers
The 11PM airing that had been a replay (of a show that's already a replay for a bunch of markets where the show airs in syndication the weekend before) has averaged viewership of 115,000.
Is this the beginning of the end for pro wrestling on Destination America?
