WWE Battleground 2015 results: No finish in Seth Rollins vs. Brock Lesnar match thanks to Undertaker return

@WWE

Almost four full months after he won the WWE world heavyweight championship at WrestleMania 31, Seth Rollins finally put it on the line in a singles match against Brock Lesnar in the main event of tonight's Battleground pay-per-view (PPV) at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri.

The story going in was that if he was going to win, he would have to do it all alone. Kane, Jamie Noble, and Joey Mercury were all taken out in the weeks leading up to this evening. That meant he was all alone to take as many suplexes as Lesnar could dish out.

If you're wondering, the answer is a lot.

After an F-5 that almost surely would have signaled the end, the lights went out. And then that familiar GONG hit. And when the lights came up just seconds later, Undertaker was standing in the ring.

And he was pissed.

He hit Lesnar with a low blow, followed it with a choke slam, then a Tombstone, and that was that. Rollins was nowhere to be found for all this. In fact, he simply left and was never to be seen again.

That means he's still the champion, of course.
