WWE Battleground 2015 results: Charlotte wins triple threat match over Sasha Banks, Brie Bella

Although they weren't advertised for a match on the card, Stephanie McMahon gave an interview backstage at tonight's Battleground pay-per-view (PPV) at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri that there would be a triple threat match in the Divas division and each of the three teams formed on Raw -- Team Bella, Team Paige, and Team B.A.D. -- would choose one member to represent.

Ultimately, we ended up with Brie Bella vs. Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte.

Stephanie made no bones about outright asking for them to tear the house down. They were given the necessary time to do so, too, and responded with a fun match. Charlotte and Sasha, of course, did much of the heavy lifting but Brie, for her part, managed to hold her own well enough not to get completely blown out of the ring.

A sure sign of progress was the fact that Charlotte, for the second match in a row, had her hair extensions ripped out. They actually ended up in Sasha's hair. The progress?

No one called attention to it and it wasn't used as a mark against them.

In the end, Brie attempted to capitalize on the Bank Statement but found herself in the Figure Eight, where she submitted to give Charlotte the win for her team.
