Report: WWE adding Divas match to Battleground event

A short while ago, my right hand man Sean Rueter brought word that Charlotte, Becky Lynch, and Sasha Banks were flown into St. Louis, Missouri for tonight's Battleground pay-per-view (PPV) at the Scottrade Center. Naturally, that led to the assumption that they would be involved with the show.

Now, PW Insider is reporting that WWE does indeed have plans to add a Divas match to the card in place of the previously planned triple threat Intercontinental championship bout that was scrapped when Ryback was injured. The report notes that nothing is final at this time, but the current plan could involve a member of each team we saw on Raw.

That would mean one wrestler from each of the following three squads:

Team Bella
Nikki Bella
Brie Bella
Alicia Fox

Powerpuff Girls
Paige
Charlotte
Becky Lynch

Team B.A.D.
Sasha Banks
Naomi
Tamina Snuka

Again, that's not final but it makes sense to replace one triple threat match with another, much better triple threat match.
