MVP, who was brought into TNA in 2014 to launch a huge storyline where he took control of the company and eventually formed a faction called the Beat Down Clan, has officially parted ways with the promotion. He sent out the following posts on Facebook and Twitter on Friday:
The BDC is no more. So long TNA...BOOKMVPNOW@GMAIL.COM

The BDC is dead. But never in spirit...

MVP started plenty of rumors in May, when he seemed to indicate he was parting ways with TNA following the announcement that Ring of Honor would be joining Destination America and the subsequent confusion that resulted among TNA wrestlers. He later clarified those comments.
If this is indeed his statement of resignation, MVP is just the latest to leave the company in recent months, following Magnus and Austin Aries, among others. With so much happening behind the scenes with recent NXT announcements, as well as rumors that WWE and ROH are moving toward a working relationship, could an MVP return to WWE be in the works?
UPDATE: TNA Executive Vice-President John Gaburick confirmed the split on his Twitter account:
TNA @IMPACTWRESTLING and MVP (@The305MVP) have mutually agreed to part ways. We wish him the best in the future.
