Rumor Roundup (June 5, 2015): SummerSlam plans, Dean Ambrose heel turn, John Cena-Kevin Owens, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • While the original plan was apparently for Seth Rollins to defend the WWE world heavyweight title against Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam, the Wrestling Observer notes that could have changed.
  • Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose getting as chummy as they have lately has been seen as a tease for Reigns to turn heel but apparently it could also be to set up a swerve for an Ambrose heel turn.
  • According to the Obsever, there are those within the creative team at WWE who know John Cena shouldn't beat Kevin Owens at Money in the Bank but it may not matter.
  • It's not expected that AJ Styles will be going to WWE anytime soon.
  • Because of the deal with Destination America, the Observer notes that Ring of Honor will have increased production value for TV tapings.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
