Like a House Afire: What is Jeff Jarrett doing in the Impact Zone?!?!

Welcome to another episode of Like a House Afire, a weekly-ish video-cast that runs down some hot topics in the world of pro wrestling with opinion and analysis from yours truly.

Two topics that are too juicy to ignore! I briefly touch on the booking of The Beast Incarnate this week, but don't go too deep since others have covered it better.

Jeff Jarrett's return to TNA interests me a great deal, though, so there's lots of speculation (informed and otherwise) about what happens Sunday at Slammiversary, why the guy who's been touting Global Force Wrestling (GFW) for more than a year came back to his old company (hint: it rhymes with mellow fission), what each party gets out of it, how Ring of Honor (ROH) & New Japan may have drive him to it, and what the future might hold for all involved.

Here's some background on the buzz that drove this episode:

Double-J teases big news, the shows up on June 24 Impact

How was the show?

Global Force's tapings without a TV deal

ROH moves to stop Jarrett from using talent on TV; Young Bucks say they aren't doing GFW TV appearances

Destination America allegedly cancelling Impact, definitely bringing ROH TV onboard

Cagesiders cover the pros and cons of Brock Lesnar's booking better than I would anyway

Hope you enjoy the show, and please hit us up in the comments with your thoughts, feedback, questions or suggestions.
