Rumor Roundup (May 8, 2015): Steve Austin major announcement, Naomi & Tamina, Taz WWE deal, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Rumors for the Day:

• Regarding Stone Cold Steve Austin's major announcement it's not expected to be anything to do with WrestleMania 32. While WWE still hopes he'll work the show, it doesn't look like that's in the cards right now.

• Tamina Snuka was apparently paired with Naomi because that was the plan WWE had for AJ Lee before she retired and they're simply moving along with it with Naomi in that spot.

• According to PW Insider, there have been some rumblings of Taz working with WWE again.

• The latest Observer Newsletter notes that some in TNA have said they believe the company is basically dead after the wrestlers were told a tour of China is no longer happening.

• On that note, while some TNA talents have apparently reached out to WWE in some form the word is they were told WWE is not interested in anyone working for TNA right now.
