Kevin Owens stops NXT women from taking over

Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.

Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.

We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.

Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - the May 25th episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, Lucha Underground & WWE NXT from Wednesday the 27th, Thursday's free web release of ROH TV and WWE SmackDown on SyFy, Friday the 29th's TNA Impact and whatever other internet streaming wrestling that aired from the 24th - 30th.

Make YOUR mark, smarks!

Even as a card-carrying Zayniac, I have to admit

I'd probably end my best friend's career for that face.

  • Lots of comment & poll votes, but KO's double duty on Monday & Wednesday gave him a pretty easy victory.
  • Things were much closer in second and third, where the winner of the MOTW edged the defeated party by half a point.
  • Triple Powerbombs and fist-bump teases brought tears to eyes, and a lot of votes for all three former Hounds of Justice.
  • Dude who showed up to confront Owens at TakeOver did slightly better than dude Kev showed up to confront on Raw.
  • Recognition for raw talents of the physical and charismatic varieties, respectively, gave us our ninth and tenth place finishers.

Points in our weekly Standings determine our annual list - full details on rules and scoring HERE.

He still hasn't won a week, but the defending annual champ keeps stacking points by placing every week. Will anything shy of losing his WWE title slow him down?
