WWE Payback 2015 match card, rumors

The next pay-per-view (PPV) on the WWE schedule is the Payback show set to take place on Sun., May 17, 2015, at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. This is the first year the show will take place outside of Chicago and the timing couldn't be ... better? Maybe worse? With turmoil in the city, WWE could provide a welcome distraction.

We're now just two weeks out from showtime and there are a couple matches official for the event.

- Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns vs. Randy Orton (WWE world heavyweight championship)

Rollins and Orton aren't finished with each other just yet after yet another schmoz finish at Extreme Rules but a WWE App vote gave fans the chance to add Reigns to the mix and, as expected, that's exactly what they did. So it's a triple threat for the top title in the promotion.

- John Cena vs. Rusev (US championship)

This one doesn't feel too good considering the manner in which the match was booked. Essentially, Rusev screamed at Lana to get him a rematch, she went into The Authority's office for 10 minutes and emerged with exactly that. Naturally, Cena immediately insinuated that she performed some sort of sexual favor in exchange for another title shot. The stipulation this time around? An I Quit match.

That's the card so far but rumors have floated that Dolph Ziggler vs. Sheamus, Nikki Bella vs. Naomi, and Brass Ring Club vs. New Day could also be added soon.
