Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.
Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.
We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.
Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - WWE's Payback pay-per-view (PPV), the May 18th episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, Lucha Underground & WWE NXT TakeOver:Unstoppable from Wednesday the 20th, Thursday's free web release of ROH TV and WWE SmackDown on SyFy, and whatever other internet streaming wrestling that aired from the 17th - 23rd.
Make YOUR mark, smarks!
Thank you, former Adrian
Damn you, Rusev
- The United States Open Challenge continues to produce lots of votes, including for the guy who keeps asking people who would like any to step forward and obtain it.
- Without even teasing their reunion yet, just having the Hound of Justice in the same program earned each member of the trio of a healthy amount of support.
- Thank you, Brian.
- On the non-WWE front, our homeboy from Boyle Heights got a ton of love from LU fans, while Ring of Honor/New Japan supershow watchers split their votes so many ways that only Mr. ROH snuck into the top ten.
- Two talented dudes that may never get a winning main roster gimmick impressed enough to sneak into the back half of the weekly list.

A very busy week with essentially two PPVs from WWE...at least TNA was nice enough to clear the stage. Regardless, check out all the eligible parties (Payback, Raw, Impact , Lucha Undergound, NXT, Smackdown, ROH) before writing the NXT champ's name four times.
