Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.
Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.
Rumors for the Day:
- WWE has most of its plans for SummerSlam in order right now, though they can always change (of course). Brock Lesnar will be on the card but he may not be winning the WWE world heavyweight championship back as had been believed before.
- The idea of Hulk Hogan wrestling a match at WrestleMania 32 has apparently been kicked around and is actually a possibility depending on how the card looks to be shaking out as it gets closer.
- More on King of the Ring: Apparently the original idea was to have it run into May but when the decision was made to make that a free month on the WWE Network, they fast tracked it.
- According to PW Torch, Sara Del Rey will be moving up to the main roster as an agent/producer at some point in the near future. Apparently it's "in progress."
- Those within the company at Lucha Underground are apparently feeling strongly that season two will be going ahead, Univision deal or not.
