Tonight, May 13, 2015, Ring of Honor (ROH) and New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) continue their annual series of co-promoted North American shows. Check out the results and some Tweeted videos of night one HERE.
Though this one, the second of four shows between Tuesday, May 12th and Saturday, May 16th, will only be available to the lucky few in attendance at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania's 2300 Arena, we'll post results in this space for War of the Worlds, night two - and we encourage you to comment along as you follow the show via social media.
If you're in attendance, please share your impressions of the show, at least via comments - if not through a full-fledged FanPost!
Here's the card for tonight's show, which has an announced belltime of 7:30PM Eastern:
- J. Deisel defeats
MooseRomantic Touch (Veda Scott says her client refuses to wrestle until he gets a World title shot) via pinfall following a Death Valley slam - Adam Page defeats Watanabe via pinfall following a modified Beach Break (and assistance from Colby Corino, who gets assaulted by Watanabe post-match)
- Michael Elgin defeats Kushida via pinfall following a backfist and an Elgin Bomb
- Tetsuya Naito defeats Kyle O'Reilly via pinfall following a Phoenix Splash
- Shinsuke Nakamura wins FOUR CORNER SURVIVAL against Jay Lethal, Mark Briscoe & Jushin "Thunder" Liger with a Boma Ye to Liger
- Cheeseburger comes out during intermission to give out swag, is attacked by Brutal Bob Evans. Officials break it up when Evans has his former trainee locked in an armbar.
- Hiroshi Tanahashi defeats Roderick Strong via pinfall following High Fly Flow
- The Addiction (Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian) defeat Kazuchika Okada & Gedo via pinfall following Celebrity Rehab; Okada laid out the ROH tag champs with Rainmakers after the bell
- Jay Briscoe retains his ROH World Championship via pinfall over Bobby Fish following a Jay Driller. Afterward, Moose was out for a staredown and put the champ down with a Spear.
- The Kingdom (Adam Cole, Michael Bennett & Matt Taven) defeat The Bullet Club (AJ Styles & The Young Bucks) via pinfall after a belt shot by Bennett allows Cole to pin Matt Jackson. Maria Kanellis also took a triple Superkick from The Bullet Club (and was set-up for a Styles Clash before Taven saved her) before the finish.
Which match-up excites you the most? Who are you picking? Most of us won't get to watch any of this cross-promotional action until Friday night's internet pay-per-view (iPPV) of Global Wars from Toronto, but that doesn't mean we can't keep the excitement level high by talking abour WotW right now!#WaroftheWorlds pic.twitter.com/YUqI98IMKq
