Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.
Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.
We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.
Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - the May 4th episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, Lucha Underground & WWE NXT from Wednesday the 6th, Thursday's free web release of ROH TV and WWE SmackDown on SyFy, the TNA Impact Wrestling that aired on Friday, May 8th and whatever other internet streaming wrestling that aired from the 3rd - 9th.
Make YOUR mark, smarks!
It'd be a shame to lose a good catch phrase just because you won a tournament and got an image tweak - how about?
- Another super-tight race saw the new King of the Ring finish just ahead of the high-flying upstart he beat for the crown and a hard-charging Big Dog who is about to get another shot at becoming the top dog in WWE.
- The craziest former Shield member just needs something to do for you Smarks to remember how you love him, and a Thursday night match against his betrayer & team-up with his brother did the trick for this vote.
- With the Demonic Director of Operations running the show, plus assisting Double-R to a end a really strong week, and the WWE champ prominently placed on television all week, The Authority is well represented in The S3.
- If the hot tag title feud had power sources, they'd be the guys who represented The New Day and Swinging Cats in the latest Standings.
- Our number nine finisher is my homeboy, and he should be yours, too.
