WWE has re-released Verne Gagne's 2006 Hall of Fame video package as a tribute to the recently passed Legend. It's a nice quick tribute to a man who's influence on the business and artform we obssess about here should not be underestimated.
The WWE Beyong the Ring documentary The Spectacular Legacy of the AWA is also highly recommended if you're interested in Gagne's background and impact (Network subscribers can check that out here).
Most of the major figures in pro graps have commented on Gagne's death in the hours since news broke:
RIP Verne Gagne,Verne said stay down and sell until u hear the crowd rumbling then Start shaking and Hulk up and don't sell anymore thx HH
