Cageside Countdown Nomination Thread: Best Wrestling Cities

WWE.com

With the advent and rapid expansion of the Internet, we've become more exposed to our world more than ever before--for better and worse. That means being exposed to more wrestling than ever before. It also means that one of wrestling's great questions needs an answer:

What's the best wrestling city in the world?

By that I mean in terms of history and fanbase and things that happened there. Because great things happen everywhere these days. I feel like I have an answer to this, but I'd rather leave it up to you. And that's the premise of this week's Cageside Countdown.

RULES

For your nomination to count, write in the subject box Nominate - your nominated city here. In the comment box, name at least one significant moment, historic wrestling event, or bit of wrestling related trivia that happened in that city.

Here, CTRL-F or COMMAND-F will most certainly be your friend. Cities only need to be nominated once, but if you wanna sway the vote, right under the city you wanna nominate, reply with a significant moment of your own.

So, for example, if I want to nominate Baltimore, I'll write Nominate - Baltimore in the subject box, then in the comment, I'd put in a significant moment, such as Baltimore was the home to eight Great American Bash events from 1988-2000.

And that's how it's done. Nominations will go on for three days from date and time of post, with the countdown to go up Saturday (sorry kids. Not Friday this week. Moving day for yours truly.).
