Rumor Roundup (April 24, 2015): Curb Stomp ban, Daniel Bryan out, Dolph Ziggler Twitter promo, more!

New, comments

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • The latest on Seth Rollins' Curb Stomp being banned is that it's not banned, necessarily, but he won't be using it. The issue apparently isn't related to safety but some outside pressure, though it's unclear from exactly where.
  • Not only does it look like Daniel Bryan will be missing the Extreme Rules pay-per-view but he's likely going to be out for the Payback event as well.
  • Regarding the comments made on Dolph Ziggler's Twitter, they were a shoot in the sense that the company didn't tell him to put it there but apparently there isn't anything to it other than Dolph promoting the match.
  • Not sure if it could signify his getting called up to the main roster after it's over, but the word is Sami Zayn stuck around in NXT to have the feud with Kevin Owens.
  • There are plans in the works for NXT to tour internationally.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
