Rumor Roundup (April 21, 2015): Curb Stomp banned, Daniel Bryan injury, Randy Orton berating fans, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Wrestle Zone reported yesterday that WWE has banned the Curb Stomp and Seth Rollins will no longer be using it as a finisher. That is unconfirmed, of course, but Rollins did use a different finish in his match with Dolph Ziggler on Raw last night.
  • The deal with Daniel Bryan is that WWE is apparently going ahead with the hope that he can work Extreme Rules but if he can't they'll simply go ahead with the card as is without booking a replacement match.
  • According to PW Insider, there was an incident at an airport when the WWE crew returned from the European tour that included Randy Orton apparently "berating" fans for hounding the crew for autographs and pictures after such a long trip.
  • It looks like the Bella twins are going babyface.
  • Although it's not set in stone, PW Insider is reporting that TNA has told many of its wrestlers that there could be a potential tour of China at the end of the year and to keep dates open just in case.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
