Rumor Roundup (Mar. 7, 2015): Bill DeMott leaving WWE, Undertaker return, Jon Stewart, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Regarding the Bill DeMott situation, while WWE apparently planned to let it blow over when it became clear the story wasn't going to blow over and more and more wrestlers were going to speak out against him the decision was made that he would step down. PW Insider reports that he is completely done with the company in the sense that he no longer has any role there at all. It's also being said that plenty of developmental talents were happy to see him go.
  • According to both PW Insider and Wrestling Observer, NXT talents have been told that Matt Bloom (who wrestled most recently as Sweet T/Tensai) is the new lead trainer on an interim basis.
  • It's looking like Undertaker could make an appearance on Raw this week, be it live or in the form of a pre-tape video that airs on the titantron.
  • WWE was really happy with Jon Stewart's involvement on Raw but it's unclear if he will be a part of WrestleMania 31 as had been rumored previously.
  • It's still thought that Mark Henry will be a part of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. He should be back on TV any time.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
