WrestleMania 31 results: Brock Lesnar loses WWE title to Seth Rollins after Money in the Bank cash in

IT HAPPENED.

The main event of tonight's WrestleMania 31 pay-per-view (PPV) at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, featured Brock Lesnar defending the WWE world heavyweight championship against Royal Rumble winner Roman Reigns. Yes, the challenger was roundly booed when he was introduced. The champion, introduced by Paul Heyman, was wildly cheered.

Right away, they brawled.

By that I mean they wildly attacked each other like two savage beasts out for the kill. Lesnar was bleeding within the first 30 seconds and Reigns had eaten an F-5 and a couple suplexes before you knew it.

And then the beating was on.

This looked something like Lesnar vs. John Cena at SummerSlam last year. Brock started hitting suplexes and the only time he stopped was to shout "SUPLEX CITY, BITCH" at Reigns while he was on the mat hurting. Roman was defiant, however, smiling and spitting in Lesnar's general direction.

This man was smiling through blood stained teeth, begging for more. After some hard shots to the face, and three F-5's, Roman still wouldn't die like he was supposed to.

Then, Reigns found an opening, pushing Lesnar into the ring post and drawing a lot of blood. Back in the ring, Roman capitalized with three Superman punches and a spear. Then he hit another spear.

And Brock STILL kicked out.

That's when Seth Rollins ran out, cashed in the Money in the Bank briefcase to make it a triple threat, and hit Curb Stomps on both. He pinned Reigns, so Lesnar lost his title without taking the pinfall.
