WrestleMania 31 results: The Brass Ring Club retain tag team titles

FACT!

The first match at tonight's WrestleMania 31 pay-per-view (PPV) at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California saw The Brass Ring Club (Tyson Kidd & Cesaro) look to defend their tag team championship titles against Los Matadores, The Usos, and The New Day in a Fatal 4-Way match on the pre-show.

They did just that.

It didn't take long before they booked a doctor spot with Jey Uso getting taken out after being thrown into the barricade on the outside. They hammered on the fact that he was suffering through a shoulder injury already. Then Jimmy Uso ran wild in the ring while the announcers put over that he may be able to win the titles for his team all by himself.

The action got hot and heavy with a ton of creative spots from each team. Los Matadores looked to have the titles won at one point when KIdd made a save and used Natalya to save himself. El Torito got involved, taking out Xavier Woods, before he himself was taken out by Natalya with a Sharpshooter. Then everyone was taken out by Naomi and Uso before a confrontation with Naomi and Natayla.

It was madness.

Back in the ring, there was some confusion over the legal man and Kidd took advantage of it. Superkicks were doled out liberally, and it got so chaotic no one knew who was the legal man and who wasn't.

Ultimately, Cesaro pinned Big E to retain the titles.
