Rumor Roundup (Mar. 27, 2015): Brock Lesnar-Roman Reigns, WrestleMania 31 plans, Vince McMahon, more!

WWE.com

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • MetsFan4Ever was back on Reddit last night claiming Brock Lesnar's new deal is three years at $3 million a year. He also said that Vince McMahon is "on board" with the idea of Lesnar retaining the WWE world heavyweight title while claiming Roman Reigns is now being compared to Lex Luger and his failed push in 1994.
  • That being said, Dave Meltzer has stated that the dollar amount on the contract is incorrect, and Vince is still "very high" on Reigns.
  • In addition to all that, Vince is apparently the only one involved in the finish of Lesnar vs. Reigns. Meltzer said Triple H may have some influence, and it's possibly he could take input from Paul Heyman, but that's it. So whatever the idea is, and Vince isn't telling anyone at all, apparently, it will be all on Vince.
  • While there is plenty of talk of Finn Balor getting called up to the main WWE roster very soon he is still set for NXT programming through May.
  • The Observer notes that Lucha Underground is planning a major show that would be something like that promotion's version of WrestleMania for sometime in the summer.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
