According to a report from the Wrestling Observer, Sheamus is, in fact, "scripted and will be a part of" the WrestleMania 31 pay-per-view (PPV) set for this Sun., Mar. 29, 2015, at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
As for what exactly he'll be doing, that much is unclear.
The two most popular rumors and obvious sources of speculation are that he will enter either the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal or the Intercontinental title ladder match. The Battle Royal already has 20 participants, the number planned for the match all along, while the ladder match has seven, which is really pushing it as far as that particular gimmick can go.
Then again, his being scripted into the show doesn't necessarily mean he's working a match. He could simply shoot an angle of some sort with the winner of either match. Or, he could shoot an angle related to another match. Or, he could cut a promo, or a backstage interview, or oh hell, it could be anything, really.
It's all speculation until we get our answer on the WWE Network this Sunday night. We'll just have to wait and see, and that's kind of the point isn't it?
