Rumor Roundup (Mar. 2, 2015): Brock Lesnar-Vince McMahon argument, Rey Mysterio, Hall of Fame, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • More on the Brock Lesnar situation at Raw last week, via Dave Meltzer: "There was a heated, loud discussion where Vince and Brock were yelling and screaming at each other, loud enough where other people were concerned, especially for Vince because it really sounded bad."
  • Also according to the Observer, apparently the WWE writing team asked Vince McMahon if they needed to write an alternate story for WrestleMania after the Lesnar situation, and Vince emphatically said "no."
  • Apparently WWE has no plans to even acknowledge Rey Mysterio's departure in any way, even with an announcement on the company website, because they're worried how it will look to shareholders.
  • PW Insider is reporting that Madusa will be announced for the WWE Hall of Fame on tonight's episode of Raw. No word on who may be inducting her.
  • There's some word going around that Samoa Joe is only accepting bookings until April 23, which just so happens to be an NXT TV taping date. That's led to obvious speculation that he's coming to WWE. It's also being said that he has offers from AAA, Lucha Underground, and New Japan.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
