A character named after the legendary symbol of rebirth. Another whose name translates to "a thousand deaths".

Of course they're feuding. And of course their battle has to end (for now) in a casket match.

Throw in a supernatural femme fatale who might be playing both of them, some badass Dia de los Muertos imagery and a voiceover or two that sound like they go with sex-and-gore flicks from a '70s drive-in, and you've got tonight's Lucha Underground main event - Fenix vs. Mil Muertes in a Grave Consequences match.

As with most things LU, it's a little campy and will feature wrestling that won't ever be confused for MMA. But if you're alright with that, it will also display a distinctive visual and acrobatic style while paying off a consistent, logical narrative.

The fine folks at El Rey Network have also provided the latest hype video for Konnan's return from a beating at the hands of Cage. It's not as great as last week's, but it's pretty darn cool:

Catch up with our award-winning (not really, but they should be) weekly recaps. Then be sure to tune in tonight at 8PM Eastern on El Rey, or Saturday at 4PM on UniMás, or whenever on Sling TV.

Who's watching? And who do you think is going in that coffin?
