Tickets for this year's SummerSlam pay-per-view, scheduled for Sun., Aug. 23, 2015, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, went on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. ET this morning.
Almost immediately, they were gobbled up and the show is now sold out.
The event was moved to the Barclays Center after the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority board moved to close the original venue, the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, due to increased competition in the area. Brooklyn has fast become the new hot spot in New York for WWE, and the company can expect a raucous crowd for one of its biggest events of the year.
With tickets selling out so quickly, they should expect nothing less.
