Rumor Roundup (Mar. 13, 2015): Bill DeMott story, Rusev WrestleMania plan, SummerSlam 2016, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • An interesting little story from the Observer: Apparently Bill DeMott was upset at how the Kevin Owens vs. CJ Parker match was booked and complained about Owens doing the dive on the outside. When he took that complaint to Triple H, he was told to let Owens do what he wants.
  • WWE is apparently planning a big entrance for Rusev at WrestleMania, as PW Insider notes that a casting agency in California is currently casting males to work as Russian soldiers.
  • It's expected that the tag team titles will be defended at WrestleMania 31 in an four-way, likely as part of the pre-show.
  • The word going around is that SummerSlam will be back in Los Angeles, California next year.
  • According to the latest Observer Newsletter, both Rey Mysterio and Alberto El Patron have deals with Lucha Underground that dictate they're "tied in" to the promotion if it sees enough success.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
