Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • There were rumors floating around about a "secret" meeting at Raw last night before the show but the word going around is that it was just a standard meeting and had nothing to do with the Brock Lesnar situation as had been speculated.
  • It's been noted by PW Insider that some outlets may already be shopping for a shoot interview from Bill DeMott but the Wrestling Observer has said that WWE is likely trying to keep him on their side and avoid his speaking out. Apparently, the company is anticipating lawsuits surrounding the situation are coming.
  • According to PW Insider, morale in NXT is at an all time high after the house shows the promotion ran in conjuction with the Arnold Classic this past weekend.
  • In addition, NXT could be back out on the road as early as May but there is no concrete timetable set in stone right now. Either way, they're going to make it a more regular thing.
  • There have been at least some rumblings that The Briscoes could be headed for NXT in the near future.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
