Smarks have always given Divas a chance

Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.

Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.

We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.

Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows -  WWE's Fastlane pay-per-view (PPV), the February 23rd episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, Lucha Underground & WWE NXT from Wednesday the 25th, Thursday's free web release of ROH TV and WWE SmackDown on SyFy, and the TNA Impact Wrestling that aired on Friday, February 27th.

Make YOUR mark, smarks!

There's a lot of things to get on Triple H about...

but NXT and it's women's division aren't two of them.

  • Because there are really only two, maybe three, names in last week's top ten that you could argue weren't signed by Hunter or greatly impacted by time in his version of NXT.
  • The Anti-Diva is one of two women to wear the NXT Women's championship on the list, and it's fitting that Paige should win outright for her pair of wins and commitment to her Doc Martens during the week of #GiveDivasAChance
  • Without benefit of poll votes, the WWE Network exclusive Wednesday show not only brought in The Boss, but also two holders of the brand's Men's title for their slobberknocker in the main event of the show that was under consideration.
  • The Beard and The Strange would be the two guys I wouldn't count as The Game's guys - and they definitely got your votes for their work on Vince McMahon-produced shows last week.
  • Been a while since all three former Shield-mates placed in the same weekly Standings.  Nice to have those three NXT call-ups on the rise at the same time again.

The S3: 2014-15, Week 46

1. Paige
2. Adrian Neville

3. Kevin Owens
4. Tyson Kidd
5. Daniel Bryan

6. Sasha Banks
7. Dean Ambrose

8. Seth Rollins
9. Stardust
10. Roman Reigns

Points in our weekly Standings determine our annual list - full details on rules and scoring HERE.

Is the top spot a wrap, or is it to early to count out Dean. F#%&ing. Ambrose?  The Big Dog BO-lieved that he should be in the top ten, and he's finally back there.  With only five more weeks plus our special, season end 'Mania vote to go, take in the glory of YOUR full Standings...
