WWE Fast Lane 2015 match card, rumors

The next pay-per-view (PPV) on the WWE schedule is the Fast Lane event set to take place on Sun., Feb. 22, 2015, at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee. This will be the first show bearing the name, replacing the Elimination Chamberevent as the show that bridges the gap between the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania each year.

We're two weeks out from showtime and so far here is what has been made official.

- Roman Reigns vs. Daniel Bryan

With WWE always trying to get the best of the vocal portion of its audience, many of them complaining on the Internet, this match was added to the card. The idea is Reigns may not have actually deserved to win the Royal Rumble (kayfabe: The Rock helped him, reality: No one wanted it in Philadelphia so it looked bad) and Bryan did (kayfabe: why bother, reality: Philadelphia really, really wanted it). So this match was made and the winner gets to go on to WrestleMania 31 to challenge Brock Lesnar for the WWE world heavyweight championship.

- John Cena vs. Rusev

While Cena was doing an interview following his loss to Brock Lesnar at Royal Rumble, Rusev interrupted to complain about his loss in the Rumble match. Cena didn't take kindly to it. They haven't had much time to work with to flesh out the feud, but the gist of it so far is Cena being a sexist idiot.

- Triple H confronts Sting

This isn't a match, of course, but WWE is pushing hard that Triple H has challenged Sting to a face-to-face meeting. Naturally, the assumption is they will book a match between the two for WrestleMania 31.

- Nikki Bella vs. Paige

Following the Bella twins victory over Paige & Natalya at Royal Rumble, Paige was given a title shot because reasons. Nikki and Brie proceeded to call her pale and elbow her in the face. They've since spray painted her and Paige has vowed revenge.

That's the show so far. You buying?
