Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Whether he turns heel or not, whether he beats Daniel Bryan at Fast Lane or not, whether he wins the title at WrestleMania or not, WWE is apparently absolutely dead set on Roman Reigns being the guy to take John Cena's spot as the top star in the promotion.
  • According to the Observer, Chael Sonnen will be attending both the Hall of Fame ceremony and WrestleMania 31. There is also apparently a meeting scheduled though it is an informal one, which would be why WWE denied ever inviting him for the show.
  • The Observer also notes that Sonnen could be doing some pro wrestling "within a few weeks" but it won't be for WWE.
  • There were some rumors going around that Kalisto would be working a gay hair stylist gimmick on the main roster but it appears that's not the case. He may be getting called up soon.
  • Apparently ROH tried to go to Sinclair recently to increase the budget for the promotion to surpass TNA as the number two promotion in pro wrestling but were turned down and told to either cut costs or be smarter with the money they have.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
