Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.
Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.
Rumors for the Day:
- Adding to the Brock Lesnar stuff from yesterday, Dave Meltzer stated on The Board at the Observer that Brock "stormed off in a huff" but it's still unclear exactly why. So he was upset enough to walk out before the Raw taping was over.
- The early word on the AJ Lee tweets to Stephanie McMahon last night is that it's not a work in the sense that it wasn't something WWE approved beforehand to set up an angle. That does not mean, however, that it won't turn into one.
- While things can certainly change considering how far out they are, apparently WWE and Undertaker are planning to have him work this year's WrestleMania (against Bray Wyatt) before retiring at next year's WrestleMania 32 in Dallas.
- It looks like this year's SummerSlam event will be held at the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn, New York.
- There will be a fourth season of Total Divas and the bulk of the cast is expected to return, with no new additions.
