Rumor Roundup (Dec. 9, 2015): Brock Lesnar WWE return, New Day merchandise, Rey Mysterio, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Brock Lesnar's return to WWE is still advertised to come at the house show on Dec. 19 in Inglewood, California but his return to TV is apparently set for The Slammy Awards on Dec. 21 in Minneapolis.
  • Apparently part of the reason The New Day have been pushed so hard on television -- or at least used in so many segments -- recently is because their merchandise is selling very well.
  • Wrestling Inc is reporting Rey Mysterio may have signed with Lucha Underground and he's expected at the next tapings.
  • Stardust was apparently injured on Raw this week, though he was checked out at the hospital and it wasn't anything serious.
  • The Stampede Wrestling footage being pulled from the WWE Network apparently has something to do with a licensing issue with Bret Hart.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
