Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Look for SmackDown and Raw to get on the same page a lot more with the former's impending move to USA in the States. One of the main ideas for making the show important again is having events continue from Monday nights onto Thursday and perhaps even vice-versa.
  • Sunday's soon to be announced chairs match between Jack Swagger and United States champion Alberto Del Rio should be the end of the widely panned MexAmerica angle that brought Del Rio back to WWE. No word on if the company has any plans for the Real Americans after TLC.
  • Darren Young is not injured and is back from personal issues that kept him off the road for a time last month, but he is also not going to be a part of Titus O'Neil's angle with Stardust. The lack of a break-up story for Prime Time Players doesn't mean they're coming back, just that WWE believes they already did that once and it didn't help Titus - who's the guy they're focused on.
  • Big Show has been working out at the Performance Center and appeared in matches at house shows over the weekend - his first action since the European tour in early November. There was buzz that he might be back on Raw, but that obviously didn't come to pass.
  • Despite pulling completelyout of the New Japan World Tag League tournament, AJ Styles injured back is not getting better. Ring of Honor officials are reportedly preparing a back-up plan if he's unable to challenge Jay Lethal for their top prize at next Friday's Final Battle pay-per-view (PPV).
