Sheamus' next target is WWE ring announcer Eden Stiles

Probably still smarting from his Twitter war with Intercontinental champ Kevin Owens last week, WWE titleholder Sheamus picked a fight with ring announcer Eden Stiles on Saturday night.

According to the Celtic Warrior, Eden improperly introduced him for his main event match against Roman Reigns at the WWE Live event in Augusta, Georgia on December 5. As a result, he says he's pulling strings with The Authority to get her fired on Raw tonight.

The ring announcer is playing it up on her Twitter - and protecting her husband's gimmick by keeping kayfabe that would make her father-in-law Dusty Rhodes proud:

Will we see this play out on tonight's TLC go home show from South Carolina? Could it lead to the oft-discussed return of the Cody Rhodes character?

Probably not, but props to the champ for casting a wide net to get his heel persona over and to all involved for attention to detail. And, whether we never hear of this incident again or is the start of an angle, its pretty much guaranteed to go better than the last major instance of a heel taking issue with a female announcer's slip-up.
