Rumor Roundup (Dec. 4, 2015): Vince McMahon on NXT, Alberto Del Rio plans, Sami Zayn return, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • The NXT lines on Raw this week apparently came from Vince McMahon and the idea is to differentiate between the two promotions.
  • Alberto Del Rio and Zeb Colter won't be continuing as a partnership much longer, according to the Observer. They have plans for Del Rio in 2016 that don't include the two together.
  • The expectation is that Sami Zayn will wrestle on the NXT tour of the UK, although that isn't expected to include the Takeover: London show.
  • WWE is interested in bringing Jay Lethal in for NXT, according to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, and his contract with Ring of Honor is apparently up soon.
  • Although the Observer reported Melina Perez and Lucha Underground parted ways over her attitude, Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that's not the case and her appearance was only a one-time thing and the two sides couldn't come to an agreement on more dates.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
