- Ken Mantell defeated Alberto Madril, Ben Sharp, Bill Irwin, Brian Adias, Bugsy McGraw, Checkmate, David Von Erich, Frank Dusek, Jose Lothario, King Kong Bundy, Mike Sharpe and Tom Steel in a battle royal.
- David Von Erich & The Fabulous Freebirds (Michael Hayes & Terry Gordy) defeated Mike Sharpe, Tommy Sharpe, and Tom Steele to win the World Class Six Man Tag Team Championship.
- Ric Flair defeats Kerry Von Erich in a no disqualification steel cage match to retain the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. Michael Hayes was the special referee. Near the end of the match, Hayes dragged Von Erich on top of Flair and counted the fall. Von Erich refused to accept the victory, then Hayes awarded the bout to Flair. Hayes screamed at Von Erich post-match, then Terry Gordy slammed the door on Von Erich's head as he exited the cage, setting off legendary Freebirds-Von Erichs feud.
